Crafted specifically for guzheng soloists in mind who need to commandingly play above the accompaniment, and yet be able to subtly perform all musical nuances. The Dunhuang 9698FFF ‘Cranes in a Pine Forest’ Rose Sandalwood Guzheng is made with only the finest of Paulownia that has been airdried for the longest possible time. The treble is crystalline clear, with very solid bass and prominent mids. Carved only by the top master craftsman of Dunhuang, the delicate carving of wood on the decorative panel shows off the world class workmanship of the Dunhuang master luthiers by carving out the trimmings of nature and cranes to the finest details.
