The Xuan Zhong ‘Dream’ Rosewood Guzheng is made with only the finest of Paulownia that has been airdried for the longest possible time. The treble is crystalline clear, with very solid bass and prominent mids. The decorative panel is adorned with a stunningly beautiful design that showcases a gradient of falling petals that evokes a sense of dreaminess and elegance. This is created using the modern ink painting techniques, which brings a sense of fluidity and movement to the motif. The blend of traditional Chinese aesthetics with contemporary artistry makes this guzheng not only a musical instrument but indeed a “Dream”.
